This may be irrelevant, nevertheless I find it sufficiently interesting to post.

It’s just another one of those little magnificent ways of working with Brainstorm. I had a huge list of stuff to organise, re activities of a large number of organisations; these were listed at the top of the list and normally, as mentioned elsewhere, I would have Marked each organisation in turn, scanned the document and Thrown what relevant entries I found.

Indeed I did this, but every once in a while I found some info that should have been Thrown to one of the organisations I had dealt with earlier. No sweat; I just typed the first letters of its name, right there where I was, then * and Enter to complete the entry as a namesake. Then I moved the said info as subsidiary to this entry; then press Ctrl+N to switch off Namesake for this entry; then deleted the entry to not get in the way.

Voila; the info was entered in the right place and I could carry on with the job at hand.

If the above sounds incomprehensible, just try it step by step.
