I think the argument against columns in NoteMap is that the developement energy required to add columns to NoteMap would be at the huge cost of diverting energy from the development of products that currently account for 98% of our revenue and are outselling NoteMap by many multiples, not just on revenue but simply in terms of number of licneses.

What you are suggesting is that if you were in my shoes, you would hold up development of tools that are selling well and are responsible for the lion’s share of your revenue to proceed with the development of a tool that selling far fewer licenses. I don’t think this is what you would really do.
