Greg, while I don’t disagree with your logic, there is one reality that I cannot overlook: Once upon a time, outlining did become popular—and still is—in the Mac world.

Why is it that, in the 80s, people became excited about More?

And though More left the market, there’s a number of capable outliners in the Mac world, which seems to take a different slant on promotion than the PC world?

I don’t think the marketing problem is irresolvable, and I also don’t think it will necessarily cost a bundle to do the job right. The answer is out there.
