I bought X1 because of its ability to search mail, which Copernic may also have. It seemed to me from what I was reading that X1 was better. I had tried a trial version on a previous machine and liked it. I am surprised at how often I use it, and I love its speed.

Re IDEA and OmeaPro: I am not sure I will buy IDEA or if I even like it. I had read about people here liking it—Stephen Diamond comes to mind—and decided to see for myself what it does. I like OmeaPro’s design, and the idea of what it does. I’ll have to give it a shot.

Yes, I use NEO. I love it. I have a trial version of Barca, but can’t figure out how to make the mail client do what NEO does so probably won’t get it. I would prefer to get away from Outlook.

What can’t OmeaPro do that Neo does?

I can see a big overlap between OmeaPro and UltraRecall, but I am very much attached to the outline structure so can’t imagine giving it up. In any event, what makes OmeaPro better for you than UltraRecall?
