I would not worry too much about Tom not knowing the secrets to Zoot.

IIRC, Tom did mention something in the Zoot Forum on Yahoo, that he is recoding Zoot into another language. The older code was VisualBasic and this is one of the major blocks on moving away from the Win16 components. The library / modules etc will have to be replaced with something else, new language will bring on more ‘bugs’ etc until he learns the pitfalls and how to avoid.

One thing I hope does not happen - the look may change but the feel?
