I’ve tried tonight with partial success.

It imports the document, but it doesn’t retain the structure, the outline is “flattened.”

I even replaced the Acta Xtnd translator in my Claris Folder with the one from Mercury (it had a later date). No change following a restart of iLiner.

Choosing to “summarize” with three and five levels of outline structure reduces most of my test outlines to just a few topics, far too few to be a meaningful summary.

Of course it probably isn’t intended to summarize outline files, which are pretty concise anyway. I haven’t tried it on any lengthy text files yet.

I’ll play around with Acta and iLiner some more before I send off a report to the tech support folks.

It still looks pretty interesting. The export to Quicktime resembles More’s ability to create slide shows.
