Hi Sebastien.

>>Up to me, the second Mac gem is Mellel, see it here: http://www.redlers.com/mellelscreenshots.html

That is a gem, indeed. I consider buying it (though I bought the writers¥ editor Ulysses a few weeks ago). Mellel has a lot that speaks for it, not so much feature-wise but as far as the GUI is concerned - when you spend half your day inside the word processor it should be one you feel REALLY comfortable with.

>>BTW, I’d be interested in a CopyWrite review : http://www.bartastechnologies.com/products/copywrite/ Or if anyone has tested it…

I tested every writing app for Mac OS X that I could find.

I didn¥t like Copywrite very much: It is too limited. Sure, you have a lot of fields and tabs where you can fill in specs and info on the book you write. But I do not use most of them. What I missed was a notes feature as in Ulysses or Jer¥s Novel Writer (I just saw that they added something like that) and a really usable documents explorer (I split my books in chapters - that¥s why I bought Ulysses instead of Mellel in the first place).

What is nice about Copywrite is the version control. However, I must admit I haven¥t tried it. People who did said that it was not really useful.

>>There are so much “creativity-ware” for Mac users ... and I’m stucked with MS Word on Windows :(

Yes, I was overwhelmed. But in the meantime, that has sobered down. Most of them are not really useful - apart from Ulysses and Mellel.

As far as Devonthink is concerned: Judging from what I read about Zoot here, Devonthink Pro might be the Mac Zoot. It lacks a Zooter, however - but has a number of really nice additional features.

Franz
