I agree that simpler usually is better (Zoot excepted for me). I think this is why I have a fondness for Personal Knowbase from Bitsmith (http://www.bitsmithsoft.com). I don’t use it much except for special purposes, but there is something enticing in its simplicity. You might think of it as a lite version of MDE InfoHandler, as it uses keywords to index all its entries. Unlike IH, Personal Knowbase only allows for one dimensional keyword indexing. A new version is scheduled for release in the next month or so, and I’m hoping the new features will entice me to use PKB more than I do. Typical CRIMP response.
