I have been testing NoteMap 2.0 for several days now. Overall, I like the product and especially the clean and easy export to Word. The reason I haven’t bought it so far is that it cots $149 what is a a lot of money for me.

Casesoft is offering me a special price until end of August of $74. This is a reduction of 50% and this makes me really think to buy NoteMap. But this offer raises some questions: Why such a huge rebate? Will the product be developed further or will it be phased out? Or is version 3.0 around the corner and the upgrade form 2 to 3 will cost an addional $70 (or even more)?

You might think I am too critical but my experience with buying software is that I can’t be too careful in selecting an application and a vendor.
