Steve, you’re right, AskSam is one that should have been there.

I’ve played with the idea of using AskSam. I kind of like its entry forms. In UltraRecall, I can devise my own entry form templates, although I can’t tab from field to field, plus I have the speed of every word indexed without having to pay the heavy freight AskSam asks for its professional version. I have read various accounts of how people have dumped container-loads (ok, I exagerate!) of material into AskSam, and it allows them to access it easily.
