It is sad to read this. I certainly fit into the category of someone who does not need a marketing program to buy an outliner—I have used More as the single startup program on my Mac since the earliest version. But I now work in a Wintel environment, and find that Microsoft does not have an interest in my needs and habits. Unfortunately, I’m not very interested in learning theirs. Word and Powerpoint are kludge options. I would love an better option—at almost any price. While More is a rather single purpose tool, so is an F1 Ferrari, and attempting a Grand Prix in an SUV will both frustrate and get one injured.
