Sebastien, when I first moved into the PC world from my Mac a few years ago, I used Treepad for several months and, while I don’t it use it today, I need to say it is a very good piece of software. It offered rulers in the article panes, a wide range of icons, check boxes, the ability to number, and so on. About the time I was using Treepad, however, it seemed that Henk was deciding on a course for the product that seemed to me to take it away from the world of outlining and information management per se, and more into web publishing. I do not know if I am characterizing the reality accurately, but it seemed that way to me. If he had not done this, and concentrated on the market segment that UltraRecall, ADM, and InfoHandler have staked out I think that Trepad would have been a real competitor.

Do you have any sense as to what the future holds for Treepad?

Daly
