[This sound horribly familiar, except in my case it was Asksam and Infoselect. Both of which I have now abandoned and still haven’t worked out a good alternative. I am living in hope of Zoot and RTF, but this seems a long way off as RTF is going to come after the 32 bit rebuild.]

A word of support here for IDEA! which, to me, represents a powerful knowledge base infrastructure. After my initial reluctance, stemmed by its counter-intuitive interface, I am now a believer and am developing the following pyramidal platform:

[Top Level] Creative Process: Brainstorm

[Mid Level] Project Info: Hyperclip

[Ground Level] Knowledge Base: IDEA!

In addition it is a steadily evolving product, with a competent developing team that is eagerly working on the actual engine power, i.e. speed / capacity / interconnection, rather than the superficial features.

I should also add that after a year of using Hyperclip and witnessing UltraRecall’s evolution, if I started over, I would have chosen the latter.
