Ultrarecall is now indeed priced at the nominal sum; however Kinook offers a competitive upgrade “for existing customers of any commercial PIM product” by completing a survey on their website. The competitive upgrade price is $49.

The CRIMP side of me loves the idea of competitive upgrades; I wonder if someone someday will offer, say, a 10% reduction in price for each and every competitor product one can have proof of purchase of.
