I took a look at the Creative Thinker, published by Idon Resources, which seems to be the original company; they have kept using the Idons (Idea Icons) concept.

I admit that my quest brings me back to the issue of pen and paper. I have the feeling that the colourful physical hexagons are far more inspiring than their virtual counterparts; also, on screen they seem too space-wasting compared to other graphical concepts.
