I found the rhetoric a little strange, but there’s probably an explanation. (I mean, isn’t .Net by MS; what exactly makes it non-native to Windows.) But I take it Kinook’s point is as Alex explains.

To Steve Zeoli: Here’s a .Net program that I don’t think is slow. It’s too simple (and inexpensive) for my CRIMPish tastes, but it might show that .Net doesn’t necessarily mean slow. (Notelens http://wwwiwindsorinterfaces.com)
