I came across another program similar to Net Snippets and OnFolio, at least in its pitch: Inquiry by MetaProducts(http://www.metaproducts.com)

I have come to use Microsoft OneNote for this purpose. My prejudice is that it doesn’t make a lot of sense to build a research application around the bare concept of efficient web capture.
