I haven’t honestly done a feature by feature comparison of TAO versus Inspiration. I saw a link to TAO, downloaded the trial version, and saw (like one of the reviewers I ran across) that I could get a running word count. For those of us in the freelance writing business, this is wonderfully handy.

Beyond that, it “feels” like MORE.

Despite the fact that I play with mind mapping stuff (Freemind is fun!), and have also played with various two pane outliners, the one pane writer’s tool still feels the most comfortable to me.

And of course, TAO is about half the price of Inspiration.
