1. Is there any way I can stop More from looking for the help file?
Try turning off Use Dialog Help in the Program Options… dialog (Then Save Preferences)

Is there an easy way I can flick between the various clones of an item?
Open the Reorg menu and press the option key.
Cmd-Option-` will goto the next clone.
