I can think of only four Windows programs with one-pane outliners that include text that can be collapsed or hidden: two Microsoft products (Word and OneNote); Inspiration; and ndxCards.

ndxCards provides a variation on the theme of “pretending to be a two-pane outliner,” when the note card is opened as a card, as oppose to appearing as inline text.

By the way, regarding the matter of the absent conventional find command: this is apparently a priority for development.
