The inline text is very important, but not important enough to have to deal with the confusion of Word’s built-in outliner… I know we disagree on this point, as we’ve discussed it in the past, but I find the Word outliner completely unusable.

Absolutely… speaking for myself, of course. For example: if you’re writing a story, you can use the columns to detail which characters are in a scene or the basic timeline of the story. Or in building a project, you can use the columns to mark assignments and due dates. You’ll tell me I can do that in Zoot or ADM, which is true, but as I’ve stated, for me, one of the important uses of a composition outliner is brainstorming and managing projects.

Of course, my enthusiasm for this product is based solely on a few screen shots. I have no idea how this all works in implementation, and your comments about its previous short comings may be completely justified.
