Speaking of name’s-the-sames: there was a great old DOS PIM called Instant Recall. In it you created items that could be one of four types: 1. Note, 2. Name, 3. Appointment, or 4. Task. Any of these could have reminder alarms and due dates attached, and I think you could assign projects to any of them, if my memory is correct. Different views allowed creative access to this information. Simple but effective like a lot of those DOS programs.
