In fact many outliners I’ve tried use a Microsoft component for RTF editing and viewing. This component is in fact buggy. For example, it doesn’t accept partial leading line space. However, if one imports an RTF text edited in Word with a leading set to 1.2 it has no trouble in displaying it.
