I am writing nonfiction. In my professional life I do a lot of copywriting, or freelance writing of newsletters. But I am also working on a book about the history of my region, which is composed of short narrative histories about individual historic sites, maybe 5000 words each. I try to make these flow like stories, so the transitions need to be seamless.
