Couldn’t agree more. I once compared Maxthink (DOS) and GV. Both had very similar features, but GV won hands down for usability. Notemap and Inspiration still have a lot of catching up to do…

Anyone wanting to look at what GV was like should chase down a copy of PC-Outline (DOS). John Friend, who went on to help design GV, started with PC-Outline, which is very like it in many ways.
