I liked InfoDepot, which made the best use of outlines with tables. MORE did many things better, but InfoDepot had some ways of gathering info that were terrific.

I put a bit of info about InfoDepot at http://www.sherm.com/infodepot, if anyone’s interested in what became of the program. I put up a screen shot of a column display.
