Based only on AquaMinds web site and Ted’s column, NoteTaker looks to me rather like OneNote. You have outlining within notes, with an outliner of moderate power; and higher level tabbed sections organized hierarchically but without full outlining control. NoteTaker is a more mature product, but OneNote is more technically innovative in its freedom to place notes anywhere on the page.

Microsoft’s new version of Office for the Mac includes a notebook feature in Word that’s supposed to resemble NoteTaker.

I’ve looked with longing at NoteTaker for a couple of years now, hoping it my be migrated to Windows. Reading the article at atpm.com, I was excited to learn that AquaMinds is planning to do that. Anyone know when that may happen?
