Unfortunately, I stopped programming after college, and I only had a cursory knowledge of C++. Right now, I am looking for a product from the shelf.

Anyway, thank you for the tip regarding MindManager.

On my side, I’ve found that TreePad is indeed fairly close to meeting my requirements. Unfortunately, its database capability is rather limited. Its menu is not that intuitive and it is a little bulky / rough.

Action Outline outlining (wordprocessor) capability is too limited.

Actually, the new Infoselect 8.0 seems to come even closer: outlining capability with limited relational database function and the ability to read Paradox files.

Unfortunately, the list of features available on miclog.com is rather limited. Is there someone here familiar with InfoSelect features? Can we create hyperlink between databases and topics? Can we create an hyperlink between an InfoSelect topic and a database record? Does Infoselect handle multiple database?
