I’ve played with it a bit. The trial version does not include the tree outliner. I’ve suggested to the developer that it would be wise to include it in the trial version. Modules are pretty much independent of each other. I can’t do a CTRL-F in some of them. However it does have a “Category” feature which is claimed to be global: You create category topics. Then, for each item you enter you can assign it to a category. Later, you can look at all the items assigned to a particular category.

Finally, the program has frozen on me a couple of times.
