Finally someone else who has the same need!!
I have been trying OpenOffice for a while now, and I think it’s a good competitor for Ms_Office, except that it lacks the MS_Office “Outline View” feature which I truly love. I cannot find much at the OpenOffice site about this, and was wondering if anyone else even needed it.
Personally, i think its a critical part of any decent word processor, and am a bit dismayed that OpenOffice does not have it—in spit of being such a complex and large software suite…
