That’s a pretty ringing endorsement of MORE in a Mac system. I went through the same evolution, starting with PC Outline in 87 with a big research project with scores of interviews and tons of reading notes. PC Outline was crucial in providing a structured environment in which I could sort out ideas systematically and brainstorm. I made the switch to GrandView in 91. Outlining has been linked emotionally with a kind of intellectual adventure. That part of the longing to get back to that formula.

I would love to make the change to MORE and an iBook, but I don’t have the cash for that kind of investment. I’ve already got a lot invested in Windows 95 (time, money and learned skills) so it’s hard to make the change.
