Dear Maxwell,

Thanks for the help. I’m afraid I may be a bit thick, here. I got the disk images and mounted the Utilities 1 disk that I need, but the installer gives me the message that “This is not the original Utilities disk. Please use the original media”—now, surely other people have been able to do this, so I must be doing something wrong, and I’m not sure what additional information to give you. I tried mounting the disk on the desktop of my destination (my iBook) and on the desktop of the zip drive disk I am using to install from, and no go either way. I’m content to live without a spellchecker in More, but if there is some simple thing I am doing wrong that you can guess from my description, that would be terrific. Thanks!

p.s.—my son’s name is Maxwell—Maxwell James; he’s 18 months old, so pretty soon he’ll probably be able to fix these sorts of things for me . . .
