I haven’t tried Inspiration ver 7 yet, but for Version 6 the following does a good job of transferring without much corruption of the outline structure.  You can download a free trial version of Inspiration 7 at http://www.inspiration.com.  Inspiration will export to RTF.  Note: NoteMap’s export directly to Word is defective.  Use its rtf export instead:

To import a GV file into Inspiration 6:

In GV,

Change the outline labeling to “Indentation w/no Labels.”
Export the file using the “Paragraph” export option.
Add the ” .txt” extension to the exported file name.

In Inspiration,

Open the exported file.
The Inspiration outline should have virtually the same structure as the GV outline, with perhaps only a little touch-up necessary.
