Yes, exporting capability is important, but usually one looses structure when importing into new PIM/outliner.

The best luck I’ve had is with GrandView exports into Inspiration 6. I posted the procedure here once, but will do again if any interested.

Also, I’ve found that Notemap exports to Word format do not work as well as exports to rtf format. Specifically, if I recall correctly, for outline items consisting of more than one paragraph.
