As a longtime user of Ecco (More previously) I have imported my major Ecco outline into NoteMap. I have noted that the NoteMap conversion is very fast, stable, and seems to work well.
The one problem I have noted is the “find” function doesn’t work well. Key words that show up when searched for in Ecco, don’t show up in NotePad. This is a major glitch, since with a very large outline, the find function is used often to “search” for items.
Perhaps this will be corrected.
My preliminary impression is that this product is so good for a verson 1.0, that this may indeed be the More/Ecco successor we’ve been waiting for.
I would also strongly encourage that the Ecco import function be maintained.
Another valuable addition would be the “shooter” function in Ecco.
