Hello,

I am new in this group, however I am not new to the outliners at all. I have found over 20 outliners in the net, but still wonder, which style of outliner applications is better: one or two pane outliner. Maybe the one pane outliners are considered for writing and the two pane outliners - for storing information, but I am not sure. What do you think about it?

Under these terms I mean:

One pane - where the text and the tree are in one window (like GrandView, Ecco and so on…).

Two pane - where the text is separated form the tree (like JotNotes+, ActionOutline, Skwyinst, MyInfo and so on…).
