When it comes to computer outlines, I think this whole MindMap thing is over-rated.

If you are working with paper and pencil, it makes sense. It seems to make it easier to add a topic in between another one with ease.

However if you are doing a regular text outline on a computer it’s just as simple to put a line in anywhere you want. Something which would be impossible on paper.
