3D would be cool for Hyper Plan, as an extra mode to current 2D mode, not replacing it.

I’ll pass on thort, don’t go for subscriptions nor sending data to someone I don’t know. At least with Amazon, Google, Dropbox, Apple or big names there is some level of peace of mind. Don’t like the look either, neither videos/website nor the clunky product itself.

I sometimes use the InfoRapid paid version on Android, has a free version there too, and an old version on windows, no serious use yet, just some basic models I did in 2016:

InfoRapid looks interesting. But I would say it is really 2D (albeit with an isometric projection).

Agree. 3D doesn’t seem worth diving into unless you have some clear cut use cases in mind where there is a significant valued added over 2D. Otherwise it is just a gimmick that gets in the way.

Thortspace App has a “local-only” mode that stores data on your local device / desktop and
does not require login or an internet connection to work…
currently it doesn’t even require you to register an account.
