Not sure if it was mentioned here before, but the online Write! App from HamsterCoders looks quite interesting:

https://writeapp.co/

I don’t know of many online writing apps with the “birds-eye view” feature, which can be quite useful for navigating a document.

Here is a review as well:

I believe the term for the “birds-eye view” is “minimap”. It is common for text editors and I’ve found them semi-useful in Sublime Text/Atom when working on long code files. I remembered the

The Bear team thinking about the feature to their note taking app, but wants to explore an automatic TOC first, as a minimap is almost useless on mobile:

I purchase Write a while ago.  It’s a pretty good editor with several nice features.  It’s best in Markdown syntax mode—the Wiki mode doesn’t really perform as a wiki.  (Clicking wiki-links does not create new notes, as is usually the case with wikis.)

The only downside so far has been the purchase experience—the site is messy, and ended up somehow charging me twice for the same purchase.  An error which the developer has not yet corrected.

Forgot to mention, Write syncs between devices only via a proprietary service run by the developer.  So if you need a file on more than one device store it in OneDrive or Dropbox and then open it on the other device.

The site looks like a nice modern design, always a good sign, and the checkout idiot proof, no worries. Nice heads-up from OP.
