I just discovered a new writing tool called WriteMapper that combines a distraction-free text editor with a mind map (https://writemapper.com).

I tested the trial version and was immediately hooked by the responsiveness and easy of switching between mind map and text editor views.

Xmind also does the same. But, this one seems cheaper. NIce

Looks interesting. A great feature would be the ability to import a markdown document and turn it into a mind map. Doesn’t look like it can do that at this stage.
