I found this application just now, and it seems very interesting. Just want to pass it along to anybody interested in information management.

It is a type of personal knowledge base, which can include a mix of documents, links, and a range of different sources of information all sorted together that you can search through. it is for Windows, Mac, and Linux - it is available in following languages in English, French, German, Spanish and Russian.

here following is quoted from the site about the software, ‘digi-libris’ -

‘digi-libris Reader is a non-tech personal organization tool for today’s multitasking user who works and lives in a digital world.
This is metadata centric software for the automatic organization of your own catalogue or searchable collection of things.’

Seems very interesting, just thought I would pass it along.

Sounds elegant and logical - but how much does it cost? I couldn’t find a price, or indication of trial. Perhaps the developer could fill in the blanks. Thanks.

If this program lives up to its claims it could be a worry for Evernote.

This looks excellent for my needs. I just wonder when I’ll have the time to look at it in more depth!

Downloaded, unzipped.  Tried to run digi-libris-reader.exe twice, nothing happens!  Some files get created, but it doesn’t show up in my process list.  No splash screen or window ever appears.

I’m having the same problem. This is not impressive. Especially when the developer goes to great length to describe a new product that sounds like the killer app so many of have been waiting for.

BTW I’m operating 8.1.
