The more I look at the Debrief Note paradigm, the more I am taken by its approach. Whether there are too many buttons or not are, in a sense and at this stage, a silly issue.

Rather, I’d like to see some of the serious analysis given to the way Debrief actually functions as a work tool, and what might be needed to make it more effective.

I think that the developers have given some very serious thought to the way people work, and what their information needs are in the work place.

Their approach to integration seems to me to be much more sophisticated in some ways than what we see in Swiss pocket knife tools such at UltraRecall, and yet I could see the Debrief developers being able to implement in a more elegant fashion some of the features that UR now has that Debrief does not..

My thought is that with the ability to do linking with files and urls, and perhaps a couple of essential functions, the program could find a solid niche.
