I haven’t tested PersonalBrain in years.  It does seem more expensive than before, but it also seems much more powerful than before.  I’ll consider giving it a trial run; thanks for pointing it out!

A significant advantage of PB4 is web publishing as a Site Brain complete with animation.

When originally released, there was a button to freely publish brain files in the developer’s servers as well as a Java development kit for using in one’s own website. In subsequent versions these were removed, obviously reserved for enterprise licensing schemes.

I’m glad that web publishing is back, as it can significantly increase the professional applications of the product (and potentially justify the increased price).
